At any point, if select is pressed, the playlist window will appear in the right pane. Also, at any point the L and R shoulder buttons can be used to switch between panes.

In the file selector window, if X is pressed while a song is selected, that song will be played immediately. If the playlist is playlist is currently playing, it will be stopped. Upon completion of the new song, the playlist will not resume.

When the playlist view is visible, files can be selected while the file manager is active. Multiple files can be selected with the SQUARE button and then added to the playlist with the X button. Files can be added one at a time without selecting them first.
